These terms apply to all orders placed on cluckingbelle.co.uk. By placing an order you agree to them. They don’t affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Orders

When you place an order you’ll receive an email confirming we’ve received it. A contract between us is formed when we confirm and begin making your order. We may decline an order if an item is unavailable, if there’s an obvious pricing error, or if the requested wording or artwork is offensive or infringes someone else’s rights (such as a trademark or copyrighted design).

Personalisation

We engrave exactly the wording, names and dates you provide, so please check them carefully before ordering. We’re not responsible for errors in the details you supply. Wedding guest books always come with a visual proof before production; for other items, a proof is available on request. We’re happy to personalise items in languages other than English, and we’ll send a proof to make sure everything is correct.

By sending us logos, artwork or designs, you confirm you have the right to use them.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include free UK delivery unless stated otherwise at checkout. Delivery to the US and Canada is £15. Payment is taken in full when you order. We may change our prices at any time, but changes won’t affect orders already placed.

Production and delivery

Most orders are made and dispatched within 3 working days of receiving your personalisation details. UK delivery usually takes a week to 10 days from ordering; faster postage upgrades are available on many items. If you need your order by a specific date, please let us know and we’ll do our best to help.

International orders

We deliver to the United States and Canada for a flat £15 by tracked international post. Please allow up to 21 working days from ordering, including making time.

Orders sent outside the UK may be charged import duty, taxes and carrier handling fees when they arrive. These are set by the customs authority in the destination country, aren’t included in our prices or delivery charge, and are paid by the recipient. We can’t predict the exact amount, and we’re not responsible for delays caused by customs.

If a parcel is refused, or charges aren’t paid and it’s returned to us, it isn’t treated as a return. Personalised items aren’t refundable in this case. For non-personalised items, we’ll refund the item price once the parcel is back with us, minus the original delivery charge and any return costs we’re charged.

Our products

Our items are made from natural wood, so grain, colour and tone will vary slightly from piece to piece and from the photos on our website. This is part of the charm of a handmade product and isn’t a fault.

Returns, refunds and cancellations

Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details, including your rights for personalised, non-personalised and faulty items.

Liability

We’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We’re not responsible for loss or damage that isn’t foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Privacy

We only use your personal details to process and deliver your order and to contact you about it. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of your home country.
